Standard Windows Home Server Setup

Enable wireless network connectivity for up to three compatible computers and allow easy access to networked digital content with the standard Windows Home Server service for your computer. Our technicians will install your home computer’s wireless network connection with your ISP and connect your Windows Home Server device. We will makes sure that you can surf the internet wirelessly and even access music, digital photos, videos and important data with seamlessly across computers.

Work Time: 3 to 4 hours

A Planet Cyber Technician will:

• Configure your wireless network connection with your ISP
• Connect a wireless router to your ISP modem and update router firmware
• Change your SSID/administrator username (if applicable)/administrator password
• Test your wireless connection for proper connection
• For added secruity, allow wireless network encryption
• Connect and install up to three PCs to your wireless network
• Connect and install a Windows Home server device, automatic backup activation for up to three connected PCs/ file sharing capability/remote access capability via one computer/cable consolidation
• Inform you on how to access shared files/view network/computer backup status/access the connected Windows Home Server device from one computer
