Embrace your own wireless freedom when you set up the connectivity of a wireless network. Available for both PC or Mac. Our technicans can also set up computer peripherals with this advanced wireless networking service. Technicans will set up and configure your home computer’s wireless router/network connection with your ISP, put in wireless encryption, troubleshoot the connectivity issues and network up to two computers/devices.

Technician Work Time: 2 to 3 hours

A Planet Cyber Techican will:

• Set up and configure your wireless network connection with your ISP
• Connect a wireless router to your ISP modem and update router firmware
• Change your SSID, administrator username (if applicable) and administrator password
• Enable wireless network encryption for added security
• Network up to two compatible computers or devices, including file and print servers, network-ready printers, TVs, home theater equipment, VoIP devices, game consoles, Apple TV, TiVo, media center extenders and Slingbox
• Test your wireless connection for correct functions
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues, including reconfiguration and reconnection to the Internet (if applicable)

• Computer repair
• Computer hardware or software troubleshooting
